THE ASSIGNMENT

Develop a national program that would allow the Brand to increase awareness among their core target as well as to generate awareness of new consumer targets. Total market penetration is the goal.

  • Get attendees to sample a variety of Bimbo products
  • Generate Brand Awareness


PROGRAM STRATEGY

To sponsor and participate in key hot air balloon (HAB) events throughout the nation. Selection of events was based on event attendance and market sales performance. In addition to having the Bimbo Bear Balloon and sampling at events, program also included a sweepstakes component, social/digital media efforts and thematic displays at retail during the promotional period. 


PROGRAM SUMMARY

After contracting a manufacturer, numerous interviews with pilots and many hours of design, our Bimbo Bear Balloon was born!


  • Participated in 6 HAB events: CA, IL, TX, NY, GA & NM
  • Over 1.4 million in attendance / year
  • Samples & premiums distributed: 125,000+/ year
  • Impressions generated: 20 million+/ year


The Bimbo Bistro

THE ASSIGNMENT

Create a sampling program that would conveniently allow to sample a variety of product for Bimbo Bakeries USA. 


PROGRAM OBJECTIVES

Increase sampling opportunities for the brand at:

  • Company functions
  • Retail/ supermarkets
  • Marketing events


PROGRAM STRATEGY

Agency designed and produced a branded environmentally friendly electrical vehicle that would allow to team to prepare, store and manage samples for the Brand. 



PROGRAM SUMMARY

  • The Bimbo Bistro has capabilities to store, cook and prepare over 600 samples per day. 
  • The Bistro is environmentally safe and powered.
  • Presently a tour of the Bimbo Bistro has been scheduled for it to visit key accounts for the Brand.
